Misty Mountain Retreat

We absolutely loved this house! The views were breathtaking and even better in person. The home itself was beautiful, comfortable, incredibly well-appointed, and had everything we could possibly need. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our time in Homer, and such a wonderful way to end our Alaska trip. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Amazing location in the woods! 3 moose grazing on the property was unbelievable!

Located within a short drive to Seward, the property is a hidden gem in the countryside. Magnificent views from the upstairs lounge give the opportunity to view a Moose and her calf who visited regularly. The house was very well stocked with plates, cutlery and cooking equipment, was well furnished and the second lounge on the ground floor offered guests an opportunity to choose where they sat.

This property was absolutely gorgeous! The views were spectacular and there were moose in the yard every day. The kitchen and laundry room both had everything we needed, and the bedrooms were spacious, clean, and cozy. We had trouble accessing the house, my own fault, and called the host who was polite and solved the problem immediately. If I could rate this higher than five, I would!

Misty Mountain Retreat was amazing!! It was throughly clean and well maintained. It was able to accommodate our family of 8 including 6 adults and 2 kids. The location is very close to Seward with the best views in the entire town! I would definitely stay again!
