Alaska Lakeside Cottage

What a beautiful place to stay! It was perfect for our two families traveling together. We got to stay together and yet separate because this cabin is like a duplex: it is two cabins with separate kitchens and living areas, yet connected and booked as one house. It was very clean and furnished well. I loved the decor! The location was great. It was close to the activities we had planned in Seward, and yet the location felt secluded and I loved that. On the first morning we were there, we got to see moose right in front of the house! A mom and baby moose were within 10 feet of our window. Love the walkway to the water. Host was great at communication, and was kind enough to mail us an item that we forgot at the house. Definitely recommend and would love to stay here again if we went back to Seward.

We had both suites of this cabin and it was perfect for our family. It is in a great location tucked away in the woods on a beautiful, quiet lake, but still close to town. The cabin is clearly professionally cleaned and stocked. We had more than what we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and ample clean towels. The laundry facilities were great and there was detergent provided. We had a bonfire and they provided wood and supplies to make that happen easily. The cabin is very charming and was obviously a labor of love with high quality work and well thought out details. We highly recommend this property and would certain stay there again!

Absolutely beautiful location right on the lake—it truly took our breath away. The views were incredible, and being directly on the water made the setting feel especially peaceful and picturesque. It’s also conveniently located just a short, easy drive from downtown Seward, which made it easy to explore the area while still feeling tucked away and secluded.

The place was clean and as advertised. The view was amazing and the property leading down to the lake was maintained and accessible. The property delivered on what was advertised and having both the upstairs and downstairs unit provided plenty of space for our group.

We had a very nice stay here. Highly recommend
